Live Out Nannies

• Full time daily nannies tend to work around 9/10-12 hours per day, Monday – Friday depending on the family’s needs
• Nannies will care for children of any age, from new-born through to school aged children
• A nanny can start as early as 7am and finish between 6pm – 8pm.  And most nannies will babysit with notice provided
• Live out nannies also work part time, 1,2,3, 4 and 5 days per week – Usually hours will be at least 6/7 hours per day
• A typical salary is £16-£17 net per hour (depending on the hours – £20-£24 gross per hour).  And that is usually the same rate for 1 or 2 children (nannies don’t tend to charge per child).  3 or 4 children may be slightly highter.
• Most nannies have to be employed and most families use a nanny payroll agency to help them with their payroll
• Some nannies drive and will often be insured on their family’s car and some nannies require parking.  They will cook from scratch and usually have a good knowledge of nutrition, some nannies have experience of allergies
• Some nannies work weekends occasionally and are paid separately.  Permanent weekend nannies are also available
• We provide full time and part time temporary nannies – This could be for sickness cover, ad hoc days or longer term bookings (often before a family have a nursery place in mind)

Live in Nannies 

• A typical salary is between £600 – £700 net per week, depending on the hours the nanny works
• A full time live in nanny will usually work between 10-12 hours per day, usually Monday – Friday
• 1 or 2 nights babysitting are usually included in the salary
• Live in nannies live with their family and are provided with accommodation and food.  Some nannies will have an en-suite bathroom and TV provided with Netflix etc.  And usually a double bedroom
• Some families provide accommodation that is outside the home, a separate apartment or a basement flat with their own entrance
