Families with school aged children often ask for this type of childcare.  This type of role is very similar to an after school nanny role but with extended hours, to make the hours more attractive to nannies.

For instance, the hours may be: 

• 12 noon/1pm – 6/7pm – during term time
• Full time hours during the school holidays

The nanny will typically perform the following duties:

• Drop off and pick up from school/nursery
• Help with homework
• Light housekeeping duties include dog walking/cooking for your children/children’s washing and ironing and all duties related to your children, not full cleaning
• The duties can include school admin/keeping a diary for school activities/organising in advance, when are gym kits needed/ballet/football etc on which day

A typical salary for this type of role is £15-£16 net per hour, plus tax/NI/pension etc
